This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We need new iPads in our technology center. The iPads would be used to practice skills related to reading, math, science and social studies skills. Majority of my students I work with in small groups are English Language Learners with some being newcomers to the United States. We currently have Osmo games to practice language arts and math, but our iPads have become outdated and no longer work. My students currently do not have any iPads that are used for technology.

Using technology is a great way to reinforce the skills for our students.
