My Students
Most kids love using computers, and my classes are no different! I see a range of students each day from grades K-5, and they all have one thing in common - they love to learn and play! Computer science, coding, programming... new fun concepts for our rural school. Many people think these ideas are extremely difficult, only for higher learning adults, and far too hard to teach to children!
Kids can master anything with the right attitude and resources.
My Project
This year, my students will be using Project Lead the Way in our classroom! This is the first year for PES to utilize this amazing program. To ensure that my students are able to access the full range of material, iPads are required. Projects include taking detailed pictures and video, voice recording, and drawing with a touch screen.
Several of the vital apps used are exclusive to Apple products.
These iPads will also be extremely useful for any child in my classes with special needs, as they are very user friendly and sensitive to touch. Please help me give my students the best advantage!
