This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
When you enter our classroom, you will meet a variety of students who all love to learn. Our students have a variety of needs and interests. In our class this coming year we will have 32 students, which will be an integration of general education students, students with disabilities and students who are English Language Learners. All of our students are always eager to learn new things and love to use new tools and resources in their learning, especially technology!
My Project
Technology is all around us. Everywhere we go, everyone is using some form of technology. It is important to me and my co-teacher that our students have daily access to technology to enhance their learning. Our students will use the iPads during small group work where they will be able to conduct their own learning using technology, specifically in Math. Technology can be differentiated to meet all needs, which is essential in our classroom considering the different needs our students have. Our students will be able to access learning through various educational websites and games to assess the skills that are being taught in class. The iPads will allow our students to gain an experience with technology that some aren't able to access from home. The iPads will be an excellent asset for our students in our classroom!
