My Students
The days of sitting and copying from a blackboard are long gone. Technology is everywhere but in our classroom. Students needs to interact with their learning to take charge of it!
Our students live in a world surrounded by technology, yet they don't get to experience it in school or much at home.
We work in a Title 1 school and our resources are limited.
Our students are visual and interactive learners, they need to be interacting with their learning!
My Project
We believe iPads are for learning. There are award winning educational apps that teach children visually. Children can take charge of their learning by being independent self-determined learners. They can navigate iPads independently, and the fun educational apps can teach them without them really knowing they are learning.
Our students, who are only in kindergarten, will be able to use the iPads independently.
They will be able to take charge of their own learning by choosing one of the many away winning apps on their own. Knowledge is power and our students needs power.
