This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are some of the most hardworking and dedicated students from varying economic backgrounds, family dynamics, and disabilities. Diversified Career Technology is an Inclusive Career Prep class aimed at helping students prepare for the work force.
In addition to keeping up with rigorous schoolwork, our students have jobs and work 20 hours a week-many to help their families make ends meet.
These students train on many computer programs, such as Adobe, to become certified which will aid in getting a better job in the future.
My Project
Students will be able to practice their interview skills with the aid of the best technology. Having a tablet will allow them to effectively practice a variety of classroom skills. They will be able to access the internet at the palm of their hands.
The tablets will allow for individualized learning, research, and other fun activities.
By donating to this project, you will ensure that these students have open access to technology every day at school. My students will have the opportunity to become fluent in technology, and it will be extremely helpful in making a more engaging curriculum for all students.
