This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I am teaching fourth grade. My students are in need of technology to help better themselves. These students are loving and caring towards themselves and others. They are so excited to have a chance to have technology incorporated into the classroom.

I currently teach general education with a few exceptional education students.

They are a funny group and keep me laughing throughout the day. They are constantly teaching me how to be a better teacher for them. We have learned, as a class, that we can achieve anything we set our minds to.

My Project

If I receive these iPads for my classes, it will help me use digital sites to help with reviewing and exploring new places. For example, there is a website that allows a VR tour of a city. This could help us while we learn about the different cities in Florida. Let the students explore how Florida was at one point in time.

As the FSA writing comes along, these iPads will help my students practice typing their essays.

By typing their essays, they are getting ready for the real world and practicing how to type. This is a skill they are looking forward to learning.
