Ipads for Bragg!

Help me give my students iPads so I can introduce technology to them. I will be using the iPads for introducing not only the technology but literacy to them. These will provide another way to reach them.

My Students

I currently have 22 prekindergarten students who we are teaching fully virtually. This year has been very difficult for them because we haven't been able to create those bonds and friendships yet. I am hopeful that as soon as we get back into the classroom that we will be able to hit the ground running.

Prekindergarten is not just a 'babysitting' class like many believe.

We work on developing social skills, basic phonemic awareness, . We are their first insight into school and we want them to love it!

My Project

The iPads will be used to introduce different literacy sights. I am currently enrolled at GSU in a reading master program. Through this program, I have learned that there are many different free, research-proven ways to introduce and encourage literacy. I would love to bring my learning into my classroom and share it with my students.

We have a nation are moving more into the technological ways.

Even the smallest of children know how to use a phone and or tablet. Having the iPad in the school will allow the students to be comfortable with the devices and they will be more apt to use it!
