Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students range from ages 5-8 and are on the Autism spectrum. Since they have some delays with their fine motor skills and communication abilities, being able to use their hands to scroll through an iPad will help them learn in a way that is familiar and easier. Please help me give my students iPads with cases so that they can engage in educational programs that target skills in: Math, Reading, Vocabulary, and Speech. The iPads, along with headphones, will allow my students to use technology that is easier to navigate while reducing background noises. The iPads will also help my students communicate their needs and wants easier and reduce frustration levels.

The iPads will facilitate the learning process for my autistic students. It will allow me to provide my students with programs that is individualized to each student's learning abilities.
