Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Technology is such an important part of today's world. Preschool children need to be exposed to the technology of today so they can develop into tomorrow's leaders.
I teach morning and afternoon preschool classes that consists of a total of 36 students.
My 4 year old students come from a low socioeconomic area, and most do not have any exposure to the technology that is such a major part of today's world. The majority of the students are English language learners.
My Project
iPads in my classroom would definitely enhance the learning that goes on in my classroom that prepares them for Kindergarten. I will use the iPads to work on different skills such as letter recognition, letter sounds, numbers, colors, and many other concepts. I have no doubt that my preschoolers will absolutely love using the iPad. It is yet another way to help engage them in a fun educational way.
My preschool students, who come with diverse abilities, would definitely benefit from having iPads in the classroom.
It would be used to help make learning fun in all aspects of the day. I believe the iPads will better prepare them for Kindergarten and to be successful for many years to come. Getting my project funded will allow my kids the chance to become proficient at using technology at a very young age.
