My Project
After the COVID-19 pandemic, my second-grade students have shown a greater need for individualized instruction and assessment. We are now using DIBELS 8 as an assessment tool with non-sense words as part of the assessment. An iPad would allow students to read faster, and I would be more accurate when assessing them. The students would also use this is one-on-one activities with me. This iPad will afford me the ability to provide students with one-on-one, unique, and educational activities and experiences. Students will be more engaged when using this device to further their reading instruction. Also, the privacy partitions will enable my students to minimize distractions. These will be used during testing times.
