Think! You can think of anything you wish! by Dr. Seuss. My wish for my students is to have another iPad in the classroom that can be used for literacy and math stations. I have 18 students using 2 iPads for math and literacy stations.
I have 18 wonderful diverse second grade students.
I have higher level students, lower level students, resource students and ESOL students and they are all special and love to learn. I work at a High Poverty School Title 1 School. Some of the students in my classroom only experience technology in the classroom because they cannot afford technology in their homes.
My Project
The iPad will be used in the math and literacy stations. The students will use apps on the iPads to help with their math, reading, writing, spelling, phonics and grammar skills. The students will also be able to use the iPad during our research projects. The iPad provides a way for the students to learn as well as have fun while learning.
The world of technology has been exploding and technology is very important in our school.
Some of our state testing is taken over the computer. Being able to use technology will help my students succeed in the classroom as well as outside the classroom
