This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Have you ever gotten your hands on or experienced the greatness of an Ipad? Help my first grade students experience that same greatness and excitement through learning.
This year I have 20 bright and energetic students who are excited about learning.
We are located in a rural town in East Texas where most families are just trying to provide their child's basic needs. Most of the children in my room are on free or reduced lunch this year.
My Project
My students need an Ipad for our classroom! With this Ipad, my students will be able to use education applications that will help them to learn phonics, math, and increase their vocabulary. They will also be able to read books on the Ipad and take AR test on them, record videos, and take pictures. It will help me to provide more individualized instruction in the classroom. The learning possibilities are endless!
This project is so important because it will get my students connected with our fast paced and ever changing technology driven world!
Pencil and paper tasks do not reach children as well as technology can!
