I teach an amazing group of third graders in Los Angeles. My students love working on hands-on science projects. My school is a higher poverty level but there is no limit on learning with the right resources. We have three classroom laptops that all of us get to use. With only three laptops, it can be difficult to teach students about technology successfully. My students receive free breakfast every day and over 40% receive free or reduced-priced lunch.
My students need an iPad that they can take home so they can research their science project for our upcoming Agricultural Fair.
My Project
Every May, my students submit their entries to the Agricultural Fair in Pomona. This year, my students want to research and create a science project for the fair. Unfortunately, many of my students do not have access to computers or iPads at home.
I have requested an iPad and protective case for my students to take home to do their science research with.
Having this iPad for both class research and research at home means that all of my students will be able to participate in the Agricultural Fair. Your help donating to this project means the world to us!
