Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Students are as engaged by apps as you are! An Ipad Mini in their hands would do wonders to keep my students engaged in learning.
My fourth graders are at a Title 1 school and a low soceo-economic area, and many come from a troubled home situation.
I have students from all over the world, including Africa and Thailand. A few have very limited English. With such a wide variety of academic levels and learning styles, it can be difficult to meet the needs of all of my students at the same time.
My Project
Having an Ipad Mini available to my students would be very beneficial. There are many free apps available that can help my students at all levels with their English skills. Engaging activities are essential to learning, and would help them reach their full learning potential!
Technology is ever changing, as are the needs of my students.
This Ipad Mini would be a valuable resource for many years to come in my classroom. Thank you for considering this proposal.
