iPad Technology to Engage Every Learner

My students need a Presenter to be able to see me manipulating my iPad in order to facilitate learning.

My Students

My classroom includes a diverse population of students with wide range of abilities. Some have been identified as having a disability, while others have been identified as high ability learners.

I try to incorporate as much technology into my instruction as possible and have found that it engages my students of all ability in listening, learning and responding appropriately.

I have an iPad and use it with my Smart TV in all daily instruction. I see students interest in this newer technology and am seeking assistance to make these transitions run more seamless.

My Project

I use the iPad connected to a Smart TV for instruction multiple times a day. I have found this engages my students in learning.

Both our Language Arts and Math program have the ability to use the iPad projected to the TV.

In Language Arts, I have each student on an iPad as well, and use mine to show them what to do and to teach concepts of comprehension. My Math program is iPad based and I use the virtual manipulatives to give my students concrete example of more abstract concepts.

I need a way to make transitions from program to program work smoothly.
