My Students
Picture this, a classroom of 26 five-year-olds staring at you, eager to soak up any information being taught! They are excited and energetic, despite the fact that many of them come from families with very little. I want my students to have the best resources in front of them all the time!
My students are from a high poverty area of DC.
Teachers are dedicated to ensuring students have the best of what's around and students are excited to learn and grow. Every day I walk into school, I am greeted by the best-smiling five-year-olds around. It is my job to make sure I am doing everything I can to set them up for successful school careers that lead to the amazing lives that they want and deserve.
My Project
This is for an additional iPad for students to use to get on educational apps. These apps help them learn to read and do math, but they are also helping prepare for their future. The goal is for all students to be prepared for any job they may wish to have and in this day and age technology is vital.
Students will learn to interact meaningfully with iPads and technology to prepare them for their futures.
We are a tle I school and our budget is limited. The more resources we can get, the better off our students will be! Thank you all in advance!
