My Students
Our students are part of a special program within the school that provides them with the support that they need. Our students have emotional disabilities and behavioral difficulties which impact their daily lives. With the appropriate plans and team, students can become successful and join the mainstream classroom.
Our students are hard workers who require additional support to stay on track.
They have many goals which they focus on throughout the year. Many of my students reach and surpass their goals!
My Project
These iPads will be used by 3 teachers in a program that supports student with social/ emotional/ behavioral needs. One teacher has already piloted this and has had great success!
The iPad will make a difference in student learning by providing supportive apps in the areas of their social/ emotional/ and behavioral needs.
The supportive apps can be used daily to provide mini lessons during morning meeting time and can provide real life examples. Also, these lessons can provide follow up activities to reinforce and practice needed skills.
In addition to the apps, the iPad will be used to collect data on students and specific target behaviors.
The data that is collected is analyzed and support plans are created to better help the student be successful in school and life.
