My Students
The school is made up of a hard working group of inner-city students. The students are from a variety of backgrounds. More than 60% of our students come from low income families.
Many of our students do not have access to current technology.
They know how to use iPads and computers but do not have them at home. Many families in our community can not afford computers or iPads. We are integrating iPads into our curriculum and need iPads for students to use on a daily basis.
My Project
Our amazing and hardworking students have access to a new curriculum using iPads. The new curriculum will help students learn to read at their own pace. Students will have access to books at their level and the program will increase in difficulty as the student's reading ability improves.
Apple iPads are incredible educational tools.
The students need the iPads to access this new curriculum. The school has some tablets and computers but not enough for the students to use on a more regular basis.
The iPads are great devices and we need a place to store the devices that is safe and secure.
