Help me give my students an iPad and accessories to enhance their academic learning experience in and out of the classroom. With the iPad, I can provide individualized instruction on the go, especially to students with special needs.
I work at a Title 1 school where more than 20% of the population are English Language learners. I travel from classroom to classroom throughout the day. An iPad would allow me to quickly bring up lessons and use it as a mobile whiteboard. I could also easily access translations to assist in communication.
This technology will help me provide one-on-one interventions and help provide differentiated instruction during small-group instruction.
Students will track their goals and academic success throughout the year.
I also plan to use this device after school with the STEM club. I am the advisor and am always looking for ways to get the students involved with new technology and innovation. Students would be able to access educational apps that help strengthen their individual needs.
