iPad Mania

My students need another iPad for language arts class. We received on last week and it has been wonderful. My dream someday is that each student will have one!

My Students

What inspires a middle school student more than technology? Answer: nothing! We received an iPad from a donation last week and it has been terrific. Students have been learning so much from the many educational apps. We have a VGA cord to hook up to our LCD projector.

My students are absolutely amazing.

They love to read, write, and use new technology. With an iPad in their hands, there are no limits. We have been playing around with writing a class novel, having a Internet show, an interactive website, and many other ideas inspired by the iPad. Students have been wonderful in sharing the iPad. However, it can be hard to get it to everyone in the class. We have been trying to work something out but another iPad would increase the learning!

My Project

Another iPad would be a dream come true. Students could continue to explore, read, write, and research on the second iPad. One really cool thing we use the iPad for is to access our online textbook. Students can not only read the story but listen to it right at their desk. The iPad is such an amazing tool. We have barely scratched the surface!

Please consider helping our class get a second iPad.

This tool is so valuable, one is simply not enough. Students have been using the one we have nonstop but having a second one would really be be great. I know that this is an expensive tool but what is an excellent education worth? To me, it is priceless.
