My Students
I have 20 students in my classroom, but my number is always changing because we are a transient-populated, Title I school. Living in an impoverished area, there are many challenges and obstacles that come before learning.
My students come to school each day bright, beaming, eager to learn, and always with a smile.
As they enter into the building each day, they are willing to meet every challenge that is set before them. They are always ready to learn new things.
My Project
The use of headphones in the classroom will help my students focus while working in learning stations. They will help students on the iPads focus on their learning task and they will also keep the students that are working in other areas of learning from being distracted.
Students are using earbuds now, that are not always sanitized and they are very fragile and easily damaged when students are constantly pulling at them.
Using the head phones would be better for students' health and safety. Students will be able to handle and use these better in the classroom. Using headphones will also make it easier for small groups to happen in the classroom.
