iPad, iPad, We All Scream For iPad

My students need an Apple iPad and an iPad case. My students need and deserve to be exposed to great technology that will help them learn and grow as individuals.

My Students

The ever growing technological world keeps growing around us each and every day. So do the children in my kindergarten class. They deserve to take part and be exposed to this great technology that is available all around them.

I teach general and special education students in a New York City Title I public school.

Exposing my students to this technology will help them to grow and learn all they need to learn and to grow into a world that is inspired and run through technological advances. My students are a wonderful group of five year old boys and girls who are inquisitive, bright and creative. They are always questioning and show a wide thirst of knowledge. Through the Apple iPad they will be able to gain more knowledge in a fun and exciting new way. Especially for my special needs children. They need differentiated instruction that the iPad can provide.

My Project

Unfortunately, with budget cuts and other monetary issues, technology is the last thing being added or funded to the classrooms. If technology is being funded it is available only to the upper grade children in our school. This is unfortunate because technology like the Apple iPad should be available to all children. Applications like raz-kids, reading a-z, porta portal and starfall will help my students with reading and writing skills. Studies show that the earlier something is introduced to children the better they can become efficient using it. My kindergarten students deserve the same opportunities as any other students. And, my special education students deserve to have differentiated instruction that it can provide them with.

Please help my students gain everything they can throughout kindergarten.

They deserve and desperately need every opportunity to explore the world around them through technology that the Apple iPad will allow them to do.
