Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our bilingual classroom is full of very creative and hard-working students who are curious about the world and are self-motivated learners!

At our school and in our classroom, our goal is to develop mindful leaders who take action both now and in the future to positively impact their communities and the world beyond.

Using a foundation of academic knowledge and global-mindedness each student will create a life of possibility and contribute to a more peaceful and just society. My kids are passionate and creative who love to curl up with a book and be transported into different worlds, from that of Pete the Cat to the Pyrenees Mountains. AGC will ignite a movement to create a better world. We will transform our educational systems by being an incubator of innovation.

My Project

Our classroom has limited access to iPads and an additional one in the classroom would give more students a chance to practice during centers (math and RAZkids). This way, the use of technology is more tactile. Additionally, the visuals will be more gripping. We will be able to use the them to document our classroom lessons, projects, presentations, and experiences through videorecording, photography, and voice recording.

This iPad will definitely bring a new meaning to "learning on the go" in my classroom.

Technology is now part of our students' lives and they should be learning how to use it correctly. We use iPads daily and allows students without technology at home to practice in class. The iPad is used for math (STmath), reading (RAZkids and sight words), Seesaw (online portfolio) and more.
