My Project
The iPad will make a powerful difference in student learning by giving each child access to personalized, engaging, and interactive tools that help them thrive academically, emotionally, and creatively. For many of my students, traditional learning methods aren’t always enough. They need flexible, student-centered technology like the iPad to help them succeed.
Differentiate instruction with educational apps that adapt to each student’s needs (like Lexia for reading, Khan Academy for math, or BrainPOP for science).
Support language development for English Language Learners through translation tools, visual dictionaries, and audio reading apps.
Encourage creative expression through tools like iMovie, Keynote, and drawing apps helping students who may struggle with writing or verbal communication to still share their ideas.
Build independence and tech skills as students learn how to use apps, organize digital work, and explore topics through research and multimedia.
Empower all students to access and engage with learning at their own pace and level. Support students with learning differences, language barriers, or social-emotional needs. Encourage creativity, confidence, and collaboration
Prepare students with digital skills they’ll need in school .
My students are curious, resilient, and eager to learn—often in ways that go beyond pencil and paper. Many face challenges that make learning harder, whether it's a learning disability, limited English proficiency, or a lack of access to technology at home. But what makes them special is their determination to grow, their creativity in expressing themselves, and their ability to rise when given the right tools.
The iPad gives them that opportunity. It becomes their voice, their canvas, their calculator, their library, and their outlet for imagination all in one.
