Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are resilient, brilliant, and full of potential waiting to be unlocked. As an instructional coach dedicated to supporting emergent bilinguals, my mission is to create equitable learning opportunities that honor and elevate the diverse linguistic and cultural assets my students bring to the classroom. I work closely with teachers to design engaging, scaffolded lessons that foster language development alongside academic growth. An Apple iPad would be an invaluable instructional tool in this work, allowing me to model best practices using interactive apps, provide instant visual and auditory support during coaching sessions, and create digital resources tailored to my students' needs. With an iPad, I can capture and share exemplar strategies, translate on the spot, and support students with personalized feedback through multimedia tools. This technology would not only enhance my ability to coach effectively but also directly impact student success by ensuring every child feels seen, supported, and empowered to thrive.
