Help me give my students an iPad to use when the Chromebook is not an effective tool.

My Students
My students walk into our classroom every day full of life, ready to learn, and excited for what is in store for them that day. I want them to know I believe in them and they can do anything.
I teach at a Title I school in North Carolina where 100 percent of our students receive free breakfast and lunch.
Some of my students receive backpack food on the weekend. Despite so many hardships, my students are eager to learn and do their best. They want to be in school because they want to learn all they can so they can be successful one day.
My Project
My classroom could benefit from having an iPad to use as an alternative to the Chromebooks we have already. For some scholars it will be easier to read and do activites to practice skills on an iPad rather than the Chromebook. Also, there are many free applications we can use to remediate learning skills that are on the iPad.
In past years scholars have used iPads so they are familiar with the technology, and for struggling learners this will be a benefit and lessen some of their struggle.
We also have testing applications that we use on the iPad to help in the development of small groups and centers in the classroom.
