it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are energetic and curious learners. They are a group of students who come to me at all levels of math competency and fluency. Nonetheless, they all want to learn and improve their academic performance.
Each day, they come to school with a willingness to take risks and learn from their mistakes.
My job is to guide them in the proper direction, but I make sure to let them do the heavy lifting so to speak. Every day is a new experience and they treat it as such.
My Project
In a previous project, I had requested an iPad for my classroom. I was fortunate enough to receive one, and it has helped me immensely through years. I utilize my iPad in many ways. During small group instruction, I may have a couple of students using iPads independently playing math games or answering a task on Google Classroom. I will also use the iPad to conduct remote learning lessons on Zoom or Google Hangouts while children are at home.
Unfortunately the iPad that I have stopped working, and I am requesting a new iPad so that I can continue to use this valuable resource in my classroom.
The wonderful thing about an iPad is that I can use it during remote instruction. This new iPad will give me all the tools that I need to teach my students successfully in a remote situation. I am hopeful that you will consider giving to my project. Thank you in advance; I sincerely appreciate your commitment to children.
