My Project

With the use of an iPad, I can help prepare myself for the technological demands of today's classroom education. Apple has a history of developing apps that assist students with learning challenges. I would like to download them and explore these possibilities for myself and my students.

This project will provide me with the opportunities I need to take advantage of all of the powerful applications that the iPad has to offer.

I will then be able to provide a new dimension of accommodations and instructional interventions in the classroom. I will be able to have immediate access to resources in relation to the content my students will be learning in the classroom.

As a teacher these days, we can always learn something new and grow to be the best we can be for our students. Having the iPad will also aid me in my efforts to improve my craft as a teacher and support the State Standards of Technology. I will also be able to adapt to new teaching strategies through the use of online professional development of the Common Core State Standards.

The iPad will definitely support me in my efforts to attend live professional developments and seminars. It will surely be beneficial as I attend different professional development opportunities, seminars, workshops, and conferences throughout the future school years.
