My Students

We are a school family! My motto is firm, fair and friendly. We laugh together and learn together. Each morning we greet each other, students are able to share, and we do an activity to get us up and moving to start our day. A typical day in our classroom is engaging and fun!

My students work extra hard and truly enjoy learning.

I have a very academically diverse group of students ranging from students with special needs to gifted students. Everyone is accepted and we work together as a learning community to help each other.

My Project

I have requested an iPad. My students will use this iPad daily during center rotations. It will be their favorite learning center. Access to educational apps, such as uKloo, BrainPOP Jr., and Sushi Monster will make learning more fun! Using the iPad for independent learning will not only help the students be more accountable, but will also promote learning on each individual level. I will also use the iPad to enhance small group instruction. The iPad will be used to tailor learning activities and can be used by all learners. I will use remediation apps for basic skills for my struggling learners and more advanced, higher level apps for my students who need enrichment. The options are really endless with technology!
