My Project
When a child needs some down time, they love to use the iPad to have books read to them! There are several websites where children can have books read to them or they can practice reading. A fabulous site they love to go to is Storyline Online. This is where famous people are showing children they love reading too. What an encouragement for the kids! I love that the screen is large enough for more than one child to enjoy the book at a time!
In addition to helping students calm down, an iPad would be so helpful for my drawing center!
My students love to draw and create, and a visual in the small groups helps them work at their own pace. This would really be a versatile tool in my classroom!
