Most of my students don't have the newest computers or printers in their homes, so the best exposure they get to technology is at school. I feel that my students deserve the best!
We are a very diversified school in a small town in East Texas.
Due to budget cuts and very little technology funds for classrooms, we are forced to use desktops that are not at their best most of the time. My students deserve the opportunity to have the best technology available for the classroom. The students in my class love using technology when it works and it is a shame they aren't able to use it more.
My Project
This iPad 2 and the supplies that protect it will give my students all a better chance at technology and thus improve their chances to grow, learn, and be the best that they can be! This will make a perfect center for reading or math time. I know that all of my students would greatly appreciate the opportunity to use this technology.
My desire is to have devices available for all of my students.
I am trying to slowly get resources to accomplish this goal! With this iPad 2 they can listen to stories, practice penmanship with letters and numbers, work on math facts, or just explore the vast world of Apps! My students can record reader's theaters, sing songs, play educational games and the list goes on and on.
