My Project
My students need a new iPad for our classroom. The iPad will help give my students with special needs a way to communicate with their peers and teachers. There are so many great apps that I would be able to download to help my students make simple requests. Currently, my students use visual pictures to communicate. Having an iPad will give them another way to use their “voice”. In addition to communicating requests, my students will be able to use appropriate apps to practice “wh” questions, basic concepts, and sequencing. Learning games on tablets can be so engaging! Having an iPad will allow us to download great educational games that will meet our students IEP goals.
