This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I currently will have an amazing group of incoming first graders starting in August. They are eager to explore new ideas, ask meaningful questions, and have the opportunities to engage in lessons each day.
Integrating an iPad and Apple Pencil into our learning classroom will significantly enhance the experience for my students.
Technology is something that is loved by my 1st graders and I feel an iPad will help keep my students hooked and engaged in our lessons. This will give my students and me an opportunity for a more interactive learning experience. It will be used during small groups, independent work, social/emotional breaks and so much more! My students have access to various learning apps which provide interactive lessons in reading, math, science and social studies. With the iPad, we can also access a variety of online books that connect to our curriculum.
