This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I teach a group of 18 amazing, bilingual students that are very dedicated and determined to succeed. I work at an elementary school located right outside the City of Los Angeles. My group of students come from hard-working and proud cultural backgrounds. I'm astounded and proud of how my students have bounced right back to attending and back to learning in the classroom.
This year has been a challenge to everyone, especially with so many classes that faced closure due to Covid-19.
There will always be challenges, but to my students, there are no obstacles.
This classroom is more together than ever. The fact that my students are from a Title I School from low income families receiving free meals, does not stop their eagerness to succeed. I feel so lucky to be their teacher.
