This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach Technology Applications to students in Pre-K through 5th grade including Special Education classes. I am proud to be a technology forward campus that houses 1,200 students most of which are economically disadvantaged and English Language Learners.

During the Covid-19 pandemic I have been forced to quickly adapt to continue teaching my students.

The majority of my students come from low income families and need lots of help when it comes to technology. I love teaching technlogy applications and wish to continue doing so at the best of my ability.

My Project

During these unprecedent times in which I am actively teaching hybrid- both to students in person and online all while traveling from classroom to classroom. I am in need of a small portable device to connect to my students. I teach Technology Applications to Pre-K thru 5th grade students. Since we are learning in person and have students also learning remotely from home I am having to juggle both groups simultaneously. In an effort to social distance I have been a traveling teacher since early September. I am currently very limited to the devices I can use and am in need of an iPad to easily connect to Teams and be able to teach my in person and remote kiddos. My students are eager to learn and I am eager to continue teaching them at the best of my ability. Please fund my project so that my students will be able to connect to my class and I will be able to reach them in a timely manner. An iPad will facilitate my job and will help me reach them easier.
