My students need an iPad to access 21st century technology and educational programs that will help increase their basic skills in reading, writing, and math.

My students are inner-city students with disabilities.
They love technology are are more engaged in learning when using it. They struggle with basic skills and often struggle when performing academic work. However, they do not hesitate to play games with educational emphasis and are very motivated when they have access to technology.
My Project
Because of the many educational apps, my students will be able to practice the basic skills they lack. We will be able to access a variety of apps for 21st century learning literacy, and math. We will have access to apps for Bloom's Taxonomy and multiple intelligences. It will also help in differentiation for all levels of students.
The addition of the iPad I am requesting in our classroom will give students access to technology that they may not otherwise be exposed to.
It will add another layer of differentiation for the wide range of ability levels.
