My students need iPad covers to protect them when students use during reading and math centers. They will protect them from scratches or in case they are dropped.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students crave new knowledge and hands-on learning daily. Using iPads daily during reading and math centers helps all students that learn visually or hands-on. Most importantly, the iPads provide my students with opportunity that they all surely deserve. "There is always room for new knowledge"
Our class is filled with very happy and motivated students.
They strive and make every attempt to work hard at all times. These students are always willing to help each other and the teacher daily. All students (100%) at our school receive free breakfast in the classroom and lunch daily. For about 90% of them, it's their only two meals for the day. Our school makes great efforts to find resources to assist our students and their families. We all work hard to keep great communication with our students' families. We want all our students to receive opportunities like others students around the world. Regardless of all the struggles & bumps our students face on a daily bases they come to school with a smile on their faces and ready to learn. These students know that "Knowledge is the Key Unlocks All Doors" Ben Carson. Our school is a Title I school located in a very poverty area in Texas. Administrator work hard to make great improvements at our school, however budget cuts have made it hard.
My Project
The iPad covers will be used to protect the iPads our class use during reading and math centers, research projects, creating stories, hands-on learning, visual aids, interventions, taking pictures for our memories of fourth grade, etc. The covers will help protect iPads from being scratched, broken, filled with dust, or getting wet. Our class is always transporting the i-pads from our desk to the workstations or to the carpet, and in some cases outside to take pictures of events happening at our school. We believe that the protection will allow all students in our class to feel secure when using the iPads.
Our class enjoys taking pictures of events at school and then write about it. These covers will allow students in our class to check out the i-pads in order to be able to gain news editors experiences and skills. Best of all they will be able to report about it like a real news anchor using iMovie to create their video.
Donations to this project will help improve the life span of the iPads our class currently has.
Our class happens to be very privileged for just having some, since most classes at our school don't have any at all. We would really like to use the iPads feel secure that in case someone has an accident and drops one that it won't break or ruin it. The covers will allow students to use the i pad in and out of the classroom to take pictures for memories or writing prompts.
