My Project
I love using technology in my classroom! I use tools on our iPads like Nearpod, Canvas, Flat for Education, and Minecraft Education to help motivate my students and support them learning how to use technology responsibly at a young age.
Your donation will help protect our iPads from mishaps, keep them lasting longer, and help my sustainability efforts.
I have over 450 students, so I try to avoid using paper as much as possible.
Over the past few years, I have pursued professional development specific to music education through technology. I completed my leadership pathway through my school district on transformative technology and recently completed my National Board certification in early/middle childhood music using technology to show evidence of their growth. I have presented at Concordia University in Austin on Technology Integration in the music classroom and in February of this year, presented at TMEA on music composition and literacy using Flat for Education.
