Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
"If you have an apple and I have an apple and we exchange apples then you and I will still each have one apple. But if you have an idea and I have an idea and we exchange these ideas, then each of us will have two ideas." Bernard Shaw put it perfectly. Please help us use our iPads with ease.
We are a Title l high school in Arizona.
Our class consists of students with a wide variety of special needs including developmental disabilities, autism, speech and language disabilities, learning disabilities, physical limitations, and emotional disabilities. We are big into using technology as a tool in order for it to help us.
My Project
We were ecstatic to receive a class set of iPads recently. What we have discovered is that not everyone has the fine motor skills needed in order to move around and manipulate with only a finger. We are hoping to get some styluses in order to give those students easier access.
Any assistance toward our goal of getting some styluses would be greatly appreciated.
It has been so exciting to see what doors the iPad can open. It would be incredible to see my frustrated students move around the iPad with ease.
