This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are energetic, up beat, excited, enthusiastic kids that walk into my class every day full of life and ready to learn. They are eager to find out what is in store for them that day and can't wait for all the new ideas I have waiting for them. One of the reasons these students are so special are because of the many different backgrounds they come from. These kids are American, Hispanic, Russian, Jewish, Chinese, Muslim, and many others.

It's wonderful to see these students get along and work together in a classroom where differences don't matter.

It great to see kids learning together and challenging each other. It's fantastic to watch a classroom of 23 students work together to solve problems and have no worries or fears

My Project

These iPads will help my students in several different ways. One of the ways the kids will use the iPads is for the app called Class Dojo. Our school has adopted this program school wide. It is a great program with many different uses. One of the ways is to get parents involved in the class. Parents can log on and see how their child's behavior is. Another way the students will use the iPads is to take pictures of some of the things they are working on in class. They can post the pictures and upload them for the parents to see.

The donations for this project will improve my classroom because it will allow the kids to take ownership in their own work.

It will allow the students to give themselves their own points and walk around the room with the iPads and learn to use them.
