My Project
Middle school is the time when anxiety and many mental health concerns hit our students hard. My office is their safe place. They can unload their emotions in here without worry about how they sound or look. The more comfortable and relaxed they feel, they more they are willing to open up. Some students just need a place to escape the busy day for a few minutes. Then they can return to their learning.
Students can't focus on learning if their mental health isn't in a good place.
A school counselors' job is to ensure the students are in a place to be their best in school. Help me, help them!
