This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My preschool students need a classroom rug for community meetings, whole group instruction, small group instruction, transitions, and center-based play area. The rug not only will be used for for instructional and meeting purposes but also for students to use for block play and constructing using a variety of materials, music and movement activities, gross-motor activities, journal writing, and transitional activities. The students need a comfortable space and a space that is inviting in the classroom where they all meet together. Having the classroom rug will provide the students with a place is optimal for learning and where all the students will fit comfortably.
