Inviting Classroom Environment

Help me give my students a warm, calming and inviting classroom environment for them to work, refocus and learn!

My Project

My students would benefit from a classroom carpet where all students would be able to sit in their own space and a calming light to help set the mood in our classroom. The rug and the light will help my students have dedicated space to sit and to participate in instruction in an inviting location other than their desks. By having squares within the carpet, students will be able to have their own space and not worry about crowding or others invading their space during learning or listening to a read aloud.

The multi-color light included in this project will also help set the mood for the class.

If the students need a calmer atmosphere in the classroom, the lights will help reset and refocus all of us.
