This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am reaching out to request laptop monitors and portable bases for my students to enhance their learning experience and better prepare them for future academic and career opportunities.

Many of my students rely on school-provided laptops, but working on small screens for extended periods limits their ability to engage fully with complex tasks.

Additional monitors and bases will improve their learning by:

• Expanding their screen space for multitasking, making it easier to research, write, and analyze information.

• Reducing eye strain and improving focus by providing a more comfortable and efficient workstation.

• Enhancing collaboration and productivity, allowing students to work on shared projects with greater ease.

Goals

By equipping students with laptop monitors and bases, my goal is to:

• Improve digital literacy by providing a more functional tech setup for research and assignments.

• Support academic success by making reading, writing, and problem-solving easier and more engaging.

• Prepare students for the future by giving them access to tools commonly used in college and professional settings.

My students are driven, resilient, and eager to learn. Many are bilingual and bring diverse perspectives to the classroom, using their language skills to support one another. Despite challenges, they show incredible dedication to their education. Providing them with the right technology will give them the resources they need to succeed now and in the future.
