My Project

This initiative is designed to support students with significant disabilities across the parish, including those with intellectual disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, multiple disabilities, and other complex learning and communication needs. These students often require highly individualized instruction, multisensory learning approaches, and specialized resources to access the curriculum meaningfully. Many of these learners benefit from supports such as visual schedules, adapted texts, interactive materials, and differentiated instructional strategies to build foundational skills in academics, communication, social-emotional development, and functional independence.

By equipping educators with targeted, high-quality resources, this project ensures that students with the most intensive needs receive equitable access to engaging, research-based instruction that promotes both academic growth and functional life skills, fostering greater independence and participation in school and community settings.
