Investigations into Arts and Crafts

Help me give my students bake clay, yarn, craft papers, ribbons, and shrink film for fun arts and crafts.

My Project

I am asking for a variety of arts and crafts supplies for our Kindergarten. Heavyweight tag board allows for both fun collage and cool sculptural projects. Diffusion paper provides opportunities to explore color blending and saturation. Glue, yarn, and ribbon support and enhance all kinds of arts projects. I am also asking for bake clay, which we can use to make small sculptures and models. Translucent clay will let the class explore stained glass techniques, and shrink film provides opportunities to use drawing skills in new ways.

Your support will help me integrate the arts into other content areas - making mosaics to explore geometry and pattern in math, creating our own bound books of stories in writing, and so much more.

It will also provide hours of joyful, hands-on learning that students will remember for years to come.
