it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students

My students are anything but average!
I teach fifth grade in a brand new school. We are a high poverty school and are in desperate need of supplies. Our school has the unique mission of teaching our students about global studies. Our mission is to create global citizens who understand different perspectives.
My Project
As fifth graders, part of our mission is to research Asia. We need Kindles in order to research different countries in Asia. We could also use it to access Edmodo and have discussions with each other about current events. Educreations is another app we could use to screencast and create presentations on what we've learned about different countries.
Please help my wonderful students learn about the world and expand their perspectives.
Research today is an integral skill that 21st century students desperately need. This donation will improve my classroom because it will allow my students to have technology at their fingertips. They will be able to work in groups and conduct research on a specific country. They will also be able to use different presentation tools to present their work. Thank you in advance for helping our classroom.
