This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My school is comprised of more than 80% low-income students. All reaching to complete high school and make their journey memorable. This set of students is a set of wrestlers trying to meet all their academic responsibilities while expanding their knowledge, horizons, and possibilities on the wrestling mat.
My students are a vibrant group of athletic kids.
They go above and beyond the wrestling mat room to be able to compete and give it their all in there. They are eager to learn and perfect their areas of weakness. With this iPad we will explore the science and math aspects of wrestling by recording and reviewing their matches, making a connection between academics and athletics.
