it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are a wonderful group of third graders. They come to school ready and eager to learn. They are bright, curious and love to learn. We are a Title I school and have a high population of low socioeconomic families. Yet, our families love and care very much for their children and want the best education for them. Our students deserve to have every opportunity to be academically successful. They deserve to have updated technological tools like other schools in our area.
My Project
I am requesting an updated brand new laptop for my third graders. Most classes now use computers daily, sometimes 80-90% of the day. If my students don’t have updated newer laptops, they will be unable to complete their science research. They have to make a science experiment display board using information from the internet. My students depend on fast downloads and laptops that can upload their pictures and graphics. I am gratefully requesting an updated laptop to help my third graders be better prepared for their future studies as scientists, robotic engineers, computer science techs, graphic designers or President of the United States.
