My Project
In Unit 2 of our Amplify resources our students not only learn about inventors such as, Thomas Edison, Hedy Lamarr, and George Washington Carver, they actually get the chance to become one. To help them embody this task we would like to create a set of toolkits for each group. There's a total of 6 groups per class.
Using kid-sized tools, motors, rubber bands, cardboard, pieces, and other materials, students will be able to sketch and create an invention that has the capacity to move, twirl, twist, and turn.
Imagine the learning and joy a student will experience being able to dream up an invention that useful and then having the materials to see it through.
